2019 POLYMER STUDY TOURS

THE NARWHAL HORN INSTALLED IN CHAMBERLAIN’S COURT

Since being presented to the Company in 1968, our splendid 9 foot long Narwhal Horn (which is actually a tusk) from a Narwhal Whale, dating from 1801, was processed at ceremonial occasions. Sadly over time it became too fragile to be moved and has been restored by Teresa Heady, the Senior Conservator at St Paul’s Cathedral. MASTER’S CHARITY HOXTON VISIT

During 2018 around 60 Horners have taken part in visits to the Salvation Army Community Centre in Hoxton, Hackney. During each visit there was an opportunity to view the roofspace that is being transformed by the Master’s Charity into a multi-activity and well being rooftop garden – alongside being hosted to lunch or tea in Major Sally Spry’s flat.
