Nine Horners attended the Air Training Corps summer camp at Longmoor on 28th August and were warmly welcomed. They saw cadets taking part on the assault course and after lunch were challenged by a number of command tasks – all credit to Robert Pinchin for solving the problem with the tyres! – and an archery competition where Graham Porcas was the highest scoring Horner. At the end of the day the Master thanked Justin Muir, the Officer Commanding, for inviting them to attend. He then presented a letter to the Squadron confirming that a donation of £3,000 had been made to it to support the Squadron’s IT project. Justin Muir thanked the Master for the donation and for the support that the Horners give their cadet force.
