The Worshipful Company of Horners

Every year the Horners host a lecture at the Royal Society of Medicine, normally given by someone eminent in the Plastics Industry which the Horners support and promote and invitations are send to other Livery Companies.

This year’s lecture, given by Professor David McGeehan was entitled:

“Creating a Circular Plastics Economy with Engineered Enzymes”

This topical and interesting Lecture was about the progress being made in biodegradable plastics by the Company of which he is Director, The Centre for Enzyme Innovation, School of Biological Sciences, University of Portsmouth.
