Polymer Study Tours are run by the Horners’ as residential courses for Teachers to learn about the Polymer Industry for the benefit of both themselves and their pupils. Each year the General Charitable Committee considers requests from the many charities that approach the Horners for a donation and whittles the list down to those that are chosen for a donation. As usual, our Carol service followed a meeting of the Court at Painter Stainer’s Hall. Towards the end of Court, the doors were opened for members of the Company and their Guests to view the Admission Ceremonies. Freeman Caroline Ross was admitted to the Livery after which Anthony Gallagher and Stephen Foote were admitted as Freemen. Andrew Jenkins and Laura Longhurst, both Horners prize winners, were admitted as Associate Horners….
