The Horners are, we believe, the only Livery Company with its own choir. Its gestation began in 1985 at the Election Service of that year, when Court Assistant (now Past-Master Emeritus) Jeremy Cartwright sang alone in the organ loft of St. James Garlickhythe.
Every year on the first Monday in March the Inter-Livery Bridge Competition takes place, , when an evening of duplicate bridge is played in the splendid surroundings of Drapers’ Hall.
The Company regularly enters a team led by Past Master Ray Anstis. The team have a good record in the Competition and twice in recent years have come second (out of the 60 pairs who take part).
