Polymer Study Tours are two day courses run by the Horners’ in conjunction with the Institute for Metals Mining & Minerals (IOM3) as residential courses for Teachers to learn about the Polymer Industry for the benefit of both themselves and their pupils. Court, Carol Service and Supper

On Wednesday 15th December the annual Court Meeting, Carol Service and Supper afterwards took place after a year of absence and Horners and their guests were encouraged to take Lateral Flow Tests before assembling for the festivities. The ‘Design Innovation in Plastics’ Student Design Awards are announced

A student from Brunel University has claimed top prize in the 2021 ‘Design Innovation in Plastics’ competition, with a product which will help reduce pesticide spray drift. Pol Blanch designed his product to help people in the developing world, after being inspired by his interest in agriculture and the rural issue of how to apply pesticides safely to vital crops.
