The Worshipful Company of Horners

On Wednesday 15th December the annual Court Meeting, Carol Service and Supper afterwards took place after a year of absence and Horners and their guests were encouraged to take Lateral Flow Tests before assembling for the festivities. At the Court, Christopher Bocking, Saria Monsen-Elvik, Dr Arash Nassouri and Hugo Richardson were all admitted as Freemen of the Company and Stephen Foote became a Liveryman.  After the Court closed everyone walked the short distance to St James Garlickhythe for the Carol Service. The Horners choir sang their hearts out and all were so happy to be able to participate in the service.

Then back to Painter’s Hall for supper. Our Becker Scholar, Amy Holyland, sang for us, the Choir followed with renditions of Christmas favourites, the Master gave us his final speech before his two years in that role ends and everyone enjoyed themselves.
