Virtual Wine Tasting – 22nd July 2020
You are invited to join The Master and Wardens for an entertaining, informative and interactive virtual wine tasting evening.
The cost of joining the event will be £45 per household* for which you will received two bottles of red and two bottles of white wine delivered to your door. All you will need to supply is the glasses.
The tasting will be led by International Wine Challenge Judge and owner and managing director of Flagship Wines in St Albans, Julia Jenkins.
Julia has over 30 years’ experience in the wine trade as a wine buyer for various companies and also as marketing manager for Sainsbury’s Wine Department.
In addition to judging and writing press articles, Julia enjoys keeping up to date with the latest wine news by going to as many tastings as possible whilst running the company, which is a leading UK independent wine merchant.
The start or the event is timed to be after your evening meal so that there will be plenty of time for those who wish to continue to socialise and enjoy the wines together afterwards. You are welcome to introduce guests to what we hope will be a very sociable occasion.
The closing date for applications must be mid-day on Monday, 13 July 2020. This will allow for the wine to be despatched to you in good time for the event.
Payment can be made direct to the Horners’ account, through the website or by cheque to be received by the Clerk by Monday 13th July 2020. You will then receive log-in details to join the ‘virtual’ tasting. Dress will be casual.
