Court Assistant Alderman Dr Andrew Parmley, Lord Mayor of London, played the Organ at our Annual Carol Service held at the delightful Wren church, St James Garlickhythe. The Horners choir sang their hearts out and as before the church was full and the supper that followed was oversubscribed. During supper the Lord Mayor, Assistant Dr Andrew Parmley, made a series of presentations.

To those Horners with 50 years of service, to Tony Milhofer for his services as our Fundraiser and to Assistant Mike Birrell for our entry in the Lord Mayors show. The Master, Hugh Moss, also re-presented to the Lord Mayor, the pair of rams horn candlesticks that had been previously been formally presented to him at his recent election. After supper Assistant Jeremy Cartwright entertained the gathering by singing whilst accompanied by the Lord Mayor on the piano. He finished with the familiar Horners refrain which you can hear below.
